Heater Motor

Featured Replies

Hello All.

How easy/hard is the heater blower motor to get at/remove?

Been following the posts re: heater problems on here.

But am now thinking the motor has packed up, though it still runs, but very slow even on '4' . . .

Think either the motor is duff or brushes have gone . . .

TIA

Easy.

Unscrew and remove the glovebox and it's right there.

WOW! - Cheers for that . . .

Check out the series resistor pack too as a this can also give the same symptom if faulty.

It is easy to do as you it is attached to the heater motor and you probably want to remove it anyway.

Cheers Mike, when it does work, its soooo slow, from other posts, I thought 12V was applied direct to motor when the switch was in pos. '4' ?? - will look into anyway

Thanks
