Bluetooth draining car battery!

Featured Replies

having now twice a flat battery the cause has been confimed as the Skoda dealer fitted Bluetooth system !

I'll have to see if theres a way of switching it off when the car is stood for a few days.

Has it been coded properly? As you've a FL it shouldn't be a gateway revision issue. But could be incorrect coding and the Bluetooth module is constantly drawing power...

There should be no issue, nor need, to de-activate any such modules for that length of time. And don't let them tell you otherwise! Who's the dealer?

If it's dealer fit is it even the proper Skoda Bluetooth or some Parrot type kit?
