Screenwash faux pas

Featured Replies

Due to the bad weather I decided I needed to top up my screenwash as the ice mix I had wasn't conducive to good motoring.

I couldn't help but be amused at this on the Halfords website.

I'm a bit baffled how I'd manage to use a 'Double Concentrate' amount instead of the 'Neat' amount though!

Maybe you have to boil it for few minutes to get the double concentrate emoticon-0136-giggle.gif

Well CSA'd Jim!

However I happened to be passing Tesco instead so got theirs.

I use top quality screenwash ONLY...VAG is best of course

The Halfords readymix stuff is rubbish and may block your fan jets...It also smears the screen!!

I store my ready mix screen wash outside and when I needed screen wash quick found that all the water had frozen but the blue stuff was all fine at the bottom lol. So I just used the blue stuff and left all the clear water

I picked some up from France that was good to -15, beats the -5 stuff we get over here :giggle:
