Who got a good deal on their VRS?

Featured Replies

I'm wanting to buy a new vRS, but as I love my current 54plate vRS so much, I want it to be a cracking deal to go some way ot persuading me to do so!!

Wanted to get an idea of what a 'good deal' is on the new model? Did anyone here manage to negotiate such a deal?

I'm surprised how much three dealers have varied, so is it jus ta case of getting the right dealer on the right day?!

Might be worth dropping me an email of what you'd like and the details of your current Fabia and I can work out some figures for you. Have you driven a new vRS yet?

Fabia or Octavia?

I think it depends on the Skoda Garage my local one are really good and do alot of service work on my car for free as my family all has Skoda's :D:thumbup:

I got 11.5% discount on mine - really pleased with that!

im getting mine for just over £15k, with Rallye Green paint, SatNav, cruise control, multi function steering wheel, bluetooth and black wheels :)

picking it up about the 8th of Jan. from all-electric skoda in kings heath (via car file) works out as a saving of about 15%

I am WELL pleased

If anyone is able to buy a Fabia vRS TODAY give me a call, I can do you a super deal on a stock car but you have to register and pay for it this week!

Targets and what not!!

I may have entertained you a month or so back but mine is on order, deposit of £550 left and waiting to be built week 1! Wouldn't be worth cancelling as I'd lose my deposit, otherwise ready to go, money ready etc!

Out of interest, what spec is the car you're selling? Colour? Extras?

I've got various, I've even got a Sprint Yellow with Black Wheels, I bet it will look awesome.

I'd rather not tempt you into cancelling your order with another dealer, as much as I want the business I don't want to make anyones life harder!

Yellow?? Urrgghhh... not for me I'm afraid!

I ordered:

White with black roof and black wheels

Cruise control

Climate control

Bluetooth Telephone Prep

Multi-function steering wheel

Reverse sensors

Centre armrest

Rear electric windows

Floor mats

Ipod MDI Cable (free - courtesy of Skoda customer services  )

Best deal I could get at the time was just under £16.5k but top whack for my trade-in. Not as good as some of the others on here but all told I'm satisfied with my deal.

I would lose my deposit though if I cancelled with my dealer though wouldn't I, despite the car not being built yet? Not that I intend to cancel my order but just out of interest? Are any of your stock cars as well-specced as this?

Of the 5 I can get none of them are as spec'd as well as your ordered one. 2 of them are the 'International Rally Special' editions models.

Usually get good deal from my dealer and thought I had this time, but less sure now.

Still waiting for my VRS to arrive. Dealer keeps telling me the car is in the UK but stuck at the docks. And now, today, wanted me to pay for it before it arrived at the dealer. I declined to do so saying I'd pay when it had arrived at the dealership. Dealer wasn't happy and is now trying to get me to tax it before it arrives . . . . . All to do with the VAT increase in 2011. Still not sure I'll agree to this as have been waiting since August and see no reason why suddenly the dealer should be trying to rush this through before the car even arrives.

When he has the car I'll pay the price we agreed. Not my fault that Skoda can't get their act together.

Skoda - manufacturer of happy drivers? Well, this VRS will be my fifth Skoda but may be my last. Or perhaps just need to find different dealer.

Update: dealer has made the deal much more attractive and is anticipating car may arrive in week 52 . . . . . . or not I guess.
