i was playing with the columbus voice control while waiting in a car park. definitely a gimmick. will be quite fun to tinker with until the novelty wears off.

what does anyone else think?

I found the facility to tell the Columbus to dial various stored numbers/ names very useful. I understand the current version has more voice control, e.g. sat nav functions.

But then I admit I do like playing with clever new toys.
