Has anyone replaced an inner tie rod on a vrs? have to replace mine....went to the local parts dealer and he said there is two models trw and koyo both have a 14mm thread on the inners(the part that screws into the rack) however mines is a 12mm thread,went back to the shop and he said thats the part number in the etc....

rang riund all the local motor shops and they all said they are 14mm on fabia's wtf? rang Mervyn Stewarts aswell but they are yet to get back to me...has anyone changed one and discovered the same?if so where did you get one?

From my limited experience, I'd reckon that as the car is a 2005/6MY one, then theh steering system will be TRW - to put this to the test, remove the reservoir filler/level cap and look at it closely, you should be able to make out the TRW moulded into it if its TRW.
