Which Lambda Sensor?

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I'm getting an error code for a mechanical malfunction on the pre cat lambda, at 112K its probably shot. I've checked the wiring and cant see any obvious breakages so I'm just going to change it.

On Euro car parts they list 2, one is for the AGU engine and has 4 wires (cheaper one) the other lists AGU and AUQ and has 5 wires (costs about £85)

Any ideas if they are interchangeable on the VRS?

Cheers

Ron

Yours will be the 5 wire wideband sensor.

The 4 wire is a narrowband sensor.

Not interchangeable unfortunately.
