Yeti Irish Spec

Featured Replies

Thought some people might be interested in whats on offer to us here in the emerald isle.

As you can see the only 4x4 option is the 170 2 litre diesel. The big seller will most likely be the Greenline as over 60% of sales are diesel.

There has also been some downgrading of specs, eg. the belero radio is no longer standard on the ambition model.

Interesting to see that the panoramic sunroof is optional despite Skoda UK's statement that it cannot be supplied due to floods in the sub-contractor's factory! Do Irish dealers have any problem supplying cars with this option I wonder??

Chris

Those prices make UK cars look cheap. Using £1 = 1.2 Euro the cheapest isover £18k plus delivery.

Andy

The small print reads "Lead times for vehicles with options is generally 8 weeks" -- and the panoramic roof is listed !

Luck of the Irish me thinks.

I think the Irish dealers have the same problems supplying the sunroof, the experience model used to come with this as standard but it was deleted when supplies became scarce.

I placed my order for Yeti at the end of November and I explicitly asked my dealer about sunroof delays and he said they don't have any problems with it.

In my country (Serbia) not many people are prepared to pay over 1000 euros for the sunroof so I am wondering if anybody ordered Yeti with sunroof before me :) .

The sunroof is availible on the Yeti in every country it is sold in bar the UK. It is the very roof going into the VW Tiguan, Touran, Sharan and now also the Seat Alhambra and a few others like the Audi Q5. This is a SUK excuse for something or they are getting pressure from elsewhere in VAG not to list this as an option in the UK.

Why don't they just raise the price so people can at least get it if they really, really want it?! Not rocket science. Then the customers are happy and they don't get every Yeti ordered with a sunroof. The sunroof was £870 which was rediculously cheap (for what it is) in my book.

Thanks Johann,

My position is very simple. I like the Yeti, but my next car will have a panaramic sunroof and DAB radio tuner. If Skoda UK cannot supply these by next autumn my money will be going elsewhere!

Well I hope SUK wake up on both fronts! Everyone should bombard Mr Hazelwood (the SUK MD) with emails. You will find it here:
