A flap from the air flow flaps near to the drivers side window is no longer turning along with the other flaps, how do I fix this ?.

I guess you need to replace the entire vent unit. Maybe if you remove it once the rear is visible the problem will reveal itself and a bodge repair will ensue?

Will try to fix it myself.

I have tried to fix it but have made it worse, the wheel on the left side of the vent has come away meaning the flaps wont go up or down now. How do you take the who lot out out?.

The whole assembly needs carefully prising out with two flat instruments, something like a paint scraper or wide flat screwdriver, go carefully bit by bit top and bottom.
