It's a 16 mile drive home from work, mostly motorway. I setup with 10 miles remaining showing on the trip computer... this could be tight. I set of with an incredibly light foot, 50 mph in 6th gear at 1500rpm. It helped that half the motorway has a 50mph limit due to road works... other than that I just got behind an ancient land rover that was sitting in the inside lane doing 50.

Sure enough after 10 miles it click on to 0 miles.

Finally arrived at the petrol station (only a few hundred yards from home)... trip computer saying 59mpg.

Managed to get 44.65 litres into the 45 litre tank!

i got 57l in my tank yesterday... it hit 46 before it clicked... id prob done about 30 miles with trip reading 0 miles :eek:
