Allowing program to bypass user control in Vista?

Featured Replies

How do you tell Vista to ignore a program "allow / cancel" when it runs? It comes up with a user control box when running and I have tried allowing the program via the program properties section, and user account section.... I just want the program to run without me having to click allow each time...... Any help please?

Can always disable it completely from (I think) control panel, users, UAC (or something).

Although then you're plauged with messages telling you your PC is unsafe each time it's turned on. emoticon-0149-no.gif

You can also disable those message. Here

I think turning off UAC is really the only option as you can't allow a single program through it (annoyingly)

What's the program?

Its a popular parts catalogue program. :D

Managed to turn it off in the end, so now updates run one after the other without it asking me "allow" each one.
