Picked up some vRS spiders from DanBoy on thursday. What do you reckon?

Yes, I know the car needs a clean.

As it was before on L&K alloys.

Looks pretty good to me. No doubt someone will be along to tell you to 'slam it'.

Whenever people put spiders on a non vRS, it gives you an idea of what could have been if more colours were offered when they were new.

I quite like the look of the dark chrome L&K alloys on an estate, especially on that colour car! Spiders look good too though!

Don't really want to lower it anymore, it already scrapes the metal sump guard on some of the speed bumps around here.

Looking good :) glad your happy with them.

Where's the snow?

We've had no snow in St Austell.

I like the dark chrome too, shame they never did the L&K's in 17"

Call me daft but I actually liked the original wheels you had on the car better.

Perhaps it was the darker colour of them that suits your colour car better?

But each to there own as long as you like them.

+1 I have an L&K and my original wheels are tucked away in storage, I have a set of spiders on currently but sometimes I look at the car and wonder if it looked better on the L&K wheels. Like you say, that wheel in 17" would look stunning, shame it never happened. I suppose I have the luxury of switching between the two every now and again.

Original wheels with the higher profile tyres has a far better visual balance to my eyes. On the spiders the overall diameter looks too small. I'm sure it's the same and just an optical illusion caused by the lower tyre profile, but it makes the car look like it's on stilts.

I've got spiders on my silver 4x4 hatch, big improvement on the 16" RIDE alloys. Saw a set of 17" Spiders on a Celica GT4 yesterday :D :D looked nice :D :D

Edit: forgot to say, dont slam it :D

Funny how just a set of wheels make it look like a vRS right away. :D
