just bought a 1.6 2003 Octavia but will only pick it up this week-end.

can anyone tell me if the Blaupunkt stereo that is fitted - play mp3 and is it a single cd player ??

Sounds like an aftermarket stereo, as the standard one isn't Blaupunkt (or at least, isn't labelled as such) - any idea on model numbers/name?

My 2002 1.6 Ambiente came with the normal Skoda Symphony radio cassette on the dash, with the 6-CD changer in the boot. Works well. Which level of trim is yours? I'd be interested to hear if it is a Blue spot because the hole in the dash for the Symphony is much deeper than the normal letter box DIN shape of a car audio unit.

The Skoda branded ones are Grundig IIRC.

They don't play Mp3

If the stereo has been changed, then you will have to wait and see.
