North East garage recommendations ?

Featured Replies

Afternoon people,

I'm needing to get my rear discs and pad done and wouldn't mind trying to get them done this week while working in the Stockton area.

Can anyone recommend any places ? I know there is a Skoda dealer nearby at Sedgefield, but is there any other options ?

Thanks in advance.

Derek Slack in Middlesbrough which is just along the A66 - apparently they are the North East's oldest Skoda dealer!

I know a lot of people use ELITE at mandale Triangle VAG trained mechanic set up on his own & uses genuine parts.

Got a very good reputation vRSphil & Thurlby12 have used him and said he was spot on (and a lot cheaper than dealers)

Heres his number 07817-847416

Thanks for all the replies guys. Just about to phone Elite as recommended by the smog monster.

Trying to avoid main dealers now for non servicing work, £200 for rear discs and pads seems a bit steep.

what about ron turnbulls at middlesbrough, ive just used them for my cambelt change and they are really good, or volkswerk next door!

Motor tech in stockton are pretty good. Had my Navara, and Leon looked after there as well as the GFs Mini One.

The guy who runs it has had loads of awards for engine tinkering.
