does the octavia vrs mk 1 have a headlight washer low warning light cause if it does ive never seen it flash up and my washers are always running out :( :'( or is it possible to fit a 5ltr washer bottle with xenons on ??? would like to fit my headlight washers just having trouble gettin hold of them

I think the 5l (as supplied if you had xenons) does, but the standard vrs does not.

You may need to look at the bottle to see if there is a sensor fitted. If there is, it may be faulty or that the dash panel needs recoding to enable it.

I thought mine had a 5.5litre bottle (elegance, non xenon). My car once ran out of water, and it has the sensor prongs (and they work). There was a sluggy/slim over the prongs making then sensor think the tank had fluid in it.

My L&K does have a warning light. But also had xenons and the 5.5l tank.

The elegance has the headlamp washers and therefore the larger tank whether or not xenons are fitted. The VRS only has the larger tank if xenons are fitted as headlight washers are required.
