Turbo's Vacuum Side is Leaking

Featured Replies

First of all, I am a member from Turkey, so my English is a bit poor sorry for that. No one in Ankara (TR) could tell me a real solution about my problem. (2006 Skoda Fabia 6Y3 Saloon 1.4 TDI 80 hp BNV engine)

Some say that;

"It's cold air vacuum line, it cannot make leaking from there" but I checked everywhere, no dropping from somewhere else. The guy who works at authorized Skoda car service said "That's such a normal thing" That was really interesting.

I checked many 1.4 TDI Fabias-Polos-Ibiza etc... and I didn't see that leaking, they were clean.

The answers of the questions which can be asked me before you may reply at this topic;

-I change the oil+oil filter+air filter in every 7.500 km (4600 miles) Fully synthethic; Mobil ESP 5-30 or Castrol Edge Turbodiesel 5-40

-No mapping, no tuning, nothing.... Fully stock.

-I always wait almost a minute before I stop the engine.

-I don't try hitting 200 km/h everyday, I always drive at 70-120 km/h, softly, not often pedal to the metal.

As you know this hose is vacuuming, coming from air filter. This hose cannot be damaged by something, it's right behind the engine and I don't want to change the hose for nothing. The leaked oil level on the hose is increasing day by day.... But I don't feel any performance decreasing or stupid fuel consumptions.

All your ideas will make me pleased. Thanks.
