Horn Lost

Featured Replies

Hi, i have my fabia since October, and the horn work just in the bottom of the steering wheel, not in the top sides, as it should be, but worked, and then, i dont know ii was because some problems with battery, or anything else...i lost my horn...the fuse are ok.

What could be??

Nothing worse than losing the horn :o

Hope you get it back soon

If it works on one part of the steering wheel but not the other parts then it's probably just dirty contacts. I had this on my last Fabia - the garage removed the airbag, cleaned up the contacts and put it back together again.

You don't need to remove the whole steering wheel, just the horn pad/airbag unit. I think there are a couple of screws on the back of it, but I left it to the dealer becase I didn't fancy messing about with the airbag.

hi, it was a very simple resolution...the horn is not the original one, so the connectores were not well done, or well atached, so maybe with the strokes from de street and the bad roads that we have the wires maybe unppluged..problem solved.
