New vRS Exhaust cost (standard)

Featured Replies

Anyone had a full new standard exhaust fitted to their vRS? Could you give me an idea of the cost?

I need a new exhaust, and i cant find any prices online, other than aftermarket, and as my Octavia spends most of its time ferrying Snail Jnr around, i don't think an aftermarket exhaust is the way to go :(

Expensive, probably around £500 or so without cat. Is the old one defnitely knackered beyond repair?

You'd be better off getting a stainless steel system.

I use company called Prospeed in Cardiff who do bespoke stainless cat back systems for our cars for about £250 fitted. Their work is of the highest standard, & highly regarded.

Im told the flexy joint is knackered, and leaking (car sounds like a diesel), and its the one bit that can't be repaired.

the flexi joint is in the downpipe so just replace that if the rest of the system is ok. look around on ebay etc, ive just got rid of a standard downpipe which made £30 on there.
