In my quest for tyres I looked long and hard on the internet, and was going to get my RainSport2s from blackcircles, but by the time I got round to ordering them, they had run out of stock.

By chance, I stumbled across http://www.tyretraders.com/ who were slightly cheaper than BC, Camskill etc. I was a bit wary as their website looks no-where near as good as some others, but thought I'd try them anyway and paid on my credit card. I placed the order very late on Tuesday evening, and got an email on Thursday saying they were in the post, and gave me a tracking number. I ordered them to be fitted at my local tyre place, and delivery to go to them.

I turned up at the tyre place, who were expecting me and had the tyres ready. (A thumbs up to Eds-Treads/Eds- Garage in Aylesbury ). Got them fitted and was on my way, all hassle free. Defiantly would use them again, and recommend them to others - well worth a look despite the slightly cheaper looking webiste.

They were also the only people I found who had the RainSport2s in stock, and not on backorder. (Tyres seem a lot better in snow than my balding Dunlops, not that that's a huge surprise!)

For Tyretraders, I've bought 2 sets of Toyo's from them so far!

Like everyone else though, no 205/45/16 winter tyres left according to their website.

I have actually given up on this search for this winter now.

Just come back from N.Wales down a steep unclassified road with summer tyres on.

To put it mildly, it was errrrrr, an interesting descent just sitting there watching the abs light flickering on and off, with speed gradually increasing.

Another pair of kecks now in the wash.
