Checking final drive oil level (Fabia)

Featured Replies

On my 1.2HTP is the final drive oil shared with the gearbox?

Do gearbox/final drives on the Fabia have a simple oil level plug on the side, or is filling/checking more complex than this?

Finally any idea of oil specs?

yes oil is all in one there is a drain (at the bottom) and a level/filler plug halfway up diff housing btw there is no interval time for replacing gear oil it's in there for life unless you have any leaks or need to change it for a problem.

Thanks bigk, any idea of oil spec?

I just want to check levels, the Diff whines a bit at low speed also at delivery mileage, the engine oil was at the min mark on the stick! :(
