is there much difference between strutbraces? ie a cheap one from ebay for 40 compared to say one a Weichersone i got offered for 85quid? for my fabia vrs cheers az

Yeah from Seat.... VW, Audi, Skoda are all basically the same cars, parts etc all transfer from one to another hence the term VAG.

The part is for a ibiza, but they are the same chassis

Its not standard its an accessory and been covered for about the last 7 years so a search should prove most fruitfull.

They aint much cop really. Thinking of getting rid of mine as its just a nuisance when you want to get into the air box

Undo two bolts and you can get into the airbox, also never struggled with mine I could always get the airbox out.

I have 2 meth lines running underneath mine so its a bit tight

Whats the air filter on your MPi?

Was wondering if I could soup mine up a bit - quite like the look of that.

Id been wondering about a brace as well - but thought it might be over egging the omlette is that a MOMO one ?

Its a K+N cone, meant for a Polo G40 I had spare.

Over egging..lol, yeah mines a bit like that seeing as its running 288mm front brakes, rear discs, braces front and rear, vRS front arb, jabba rear arb, cupra and powerflex bushes all around not to mention coil overs, spacers, 16" TT alloys etc etc

worth more than the car all that, surely!

Would consider swapping drums for discs - if nothing else, theyre easier to work on.

Might look into the air filter though...

Most of the bits were left over from the vRS estate I built then upgraded and labour is just my own time.
