Had an annoying ticking underneath my passenger seat when someone was sat on it...

Featured Replies

For the last 500 miles I've had a really annoying metallic ticking sound whenever someone has been sat on my passenger seat.

The culprit? Some "passenger" of mine has had a can of red bull and left it (full) in the footwell, it has then got under the passenger seat and been crushed whenever the seat has been put forwards or backwards, and the contents of the can have at some point spilled in the car and then soaked in to everything or evaporated. The can's completely empty but the top is still sealed and I can't feel any moisture, so I guess my carpets would taste of sweet sweet sugar and caffeine, should anyone ever decide to lick them :D

Glad I found it though, it was driving me insane!

I was so bored and stuck at home yesterday that I cleaned the interior of my car for the first time in a long time; discovering in the process that my drivers mat is getting alittle worn where my throttle foot rests :D

That's good news (nothing wrong with the car! :)) - those rattles/noises can be extremely annoying/unsettling!
