Ok, my clutch went yesterday in town so i had to limp it to a garage who has now replaced it and says i need a new clutch release arm and a clutch fork and 1 have any ideas where to get any of these? any help would be much appreciated!

Jorily? Hard to tell if the kit contains the parts you need, but you could PM him or send an email from his site?

well i was parking the car in a really tight spot yesterday and so was goin back n forth tryin to edge into this spot n then ther was a bang which was a pin on the clutch fork snapping so the clutch wouldnt engage the gears unless i put my foot under the pedal and pulled it up so when i was driving it with difficulty to my dads friends garage it kinda knackered everythin :p but i ended up luckily finding a scrappers with a felicia in haha pick the car back up 2moz

A mate had this happen in his rover 45 - the clutch basically took out the release bearing and fork!

If there's a Skoda dealer near you, you'd be looking at around £40+VAT for new bits, but I much prefer scrapyard prices too!

Ah yes, there is a tiny roll pin that moves the release bearing back and forth, mine sheared off a while ago too.

the biggest trouble with getting one of those from a breaker is that you need to remove the gearbox from the car to take it out

yea it was a bit of a ball ache tryna source them but ended up gettin them for £40 all in and also manage to steal a brand new release bearing cos he gave it me for sum reason :S muhahahaha cud of got them from a supplier for £30 but they had none in stock gunna buy a set when they are just in case tho
