Radio on/off volume button stuck down

Hi,

Think I know that the answer may be the purchase of a new radio but thought I'd see if anyone has had a similar experience and/or a fix.

Unfortunately, during a really annoying commercial, I punched the on/off button on the radio with rather too much force causing it to become stuck down.

Anybody got any ideas on how this might be possible to fix?

I presume the spring behind it may now be knackered but it doesn't look like it's possible to get the plastic button off in the first place to find out.

Alternatively, does anyone have a recommendation for a decent replacement unit?
