In recent torrential rain on motorways I thought that it would be a good idea if the Fabia rear wiper could be made to operate continuously as the fixed intermittent setting isn't very effective in such conditions. Can anyone suggest a way of doing this - perhaps fiddling with a relay plus an extra switch?

Can't help specifically, but I tend to stick on the rear window heater too in heavy rain which does help, although in torrential rain, probably not enough!

In torrential rain you want to spend more time looking out the FRONT window, not the back!

Use Rain-X

I use it in my Octy

Side and rear windows and don't have any problems

Then again I don't look in my mirrors at 135MPH (legally!)

My rear screen & side windows are Swissol'd

Works for me

Also makes frost & ice easier to remove
