washer pump location?

Featured Replies

hi does anyone know where the washer pump is and how to remove refit. I have had the wiper problem and changed the fuse as per the guide and now the wipers are working fine, however the washers arent and there is no sound coming from the pump so im thinking the ice might have knackered it. or should i give it a few days untill to try and let it thaw?

Looking at this post it shows the location of the pump. It only shows the pipes, but not how to remove the pump.

Rear Washer not working

It looks like there is only 1 pump, Is that right? My washers on my car don't work even after changing fuse 15, this is my next move.

Washer pump is on the bottle and feeds to the front & back washers go from it. :) Its just a push/pull fitting into the bottle itself. If the bottle is full before you pull the pump out, you will get wet from the gushing fluid which follows ;) Have something there to catch it. :D

Sometimes, especially in this weather, its simply a case of the pipe has popped off at the pump end, or the builkhead, sometimes in the boot. If you can hear the noise the pump is fine.
