Featured Replies

My friend has a set of R32 callipers with the carriers and pads for sale for £180 and has linked me to a set of 334mm discs for £189.

Will these brakes fit the Fabia vRS and fit under 17" Octavia vRS wheels?

I'd stick with the 312mm upgrade, or possibly the Brembo 323mm kit as found on the Ibiza Cupra.

These are a bit of overkill I feel. Plus you risk unbalancing the breaking, as they'll then be so much bigger than the std rear setup.

They should fit under 17s though. I know the current 345mm S3/R32 kit fits under 17s, so these should be fine.

Are they not on the Leon cupra? Thought the Ibiza had a similar version of the 312's

Matt

323mm 4 pots are from the seat leon cupra r

225bhp!

tbh i'd just stick 312's on as the price of the 323mm discs pads and the 330mm discs and pads would make me feel sick

From my time as a mkiv golf owner, I always thought you need 18s to clear the R32s brake setup.

However, there are claims on the R32OC that they can fit under 17s, but great care is required on the offset of the alloy to ensure that wheel clears the caliper. Hopefully a mk1 Octy vRS owner will have attempted this conversion in the past. Could you 'borrow' your mates brakes for a test fitting???

I'd stick with the search for the 323mm setup - i've been watching the link you posted. The seller seems to sell quite a few sets....

ive seen that listed too seems good for the price only thing i wasnt sure about is what brake hoses you would need as i very much doubt the standard one would go into the brembo caliper, and it doesnt list the hoses as inc

and the r32 came standard with 18" so i think 17"s would require spacers if they physically clear the wheel

Does anyone know whether or not these brakes would fit under Spiders with no adapters?

Cheers.
