Hi,

I tried to open my bonnet this morning to put some more fluid in my washer bottle and found my bonnet to be stuck :S

The bonnet release works but when you slide the lever to lift the bonnet it doesn't lift??

Any ideas on how to open the bonnet would be much appreciated.

P.S. luckily i didn't wait for the bottle to run dry before topping it up

Maybe it is just frozen shut..... try blowing some warmth in with a hair drier....

Unfortunately it's not frozen as it's done this before,

Am I left with breaking the grill to gain entry?

MY CAR WAS SAME LAST WEEK. JUST FROZE. SPRAY SOME OIL IT'LL BE GRAND

It wasn't frozen (didn't think it had) it turns out that the lever you slide to the left was seized.

I managed to open the bonnet by sliding a brush handle through the gap above the headlamp and pushing the lever manually, once the bonnet was open just sprayed some WD on the lever arm and hey presto
