I had a run to the airport last night, and was absolutly impressed with the performance of the car, running on winter tyres and being kept right by the ESP, quite staggering.

I suspect that the downside is that once accustomed to these "performance enhancments" they become "the norm" so one will still crash, only faster? ( but I havnt yet)

Yepp, one gets used to this behaviour and can forget that physics laws cannot be avoided..... better be careful.
