what are these two pipes?

the hole of the second pipe is usually just blanked off so why has this guy run a pipe off his? and are there no downfalls or risks from performing the ccv mod? am i right in thinkng that this mod will eliminate the oil circulating in the pipes? but does the rocker cover not need to breath? and if this pipe is vented to air there will be no suction of air from the intake to let the rocker cover breath and draw the oil out?

also how would i go about finding someone who has vag com who can turn my egr rdown to its lowest setting? would a local garage have the capabilites?

You don't have an erg by the looks of it ;)

It's letting the crank case gasses release to atmosphere and not into the intake. Looks like a possible catch can may by used? Not sure from the piccy though

Looks like the pipes are circulating the oil vapour through an oil catch can so the crankcase should be breathing fine and excess oil is caught in the catch can - can't really see the catch can in detail, has it got a filter fitted on it?

he seems to have connected the catch can to the oil filter housing, zoom into the pic. i havent a clue lol i hate looking at things like this it just gives me ideas lol

Saved the pic and zoomed in - looks like a catch can mounted behind the oil filter housing and possibly a small filter on the front of the can nearest the housing

its just a catch can....

just vent to atmosphere and whack a coke bottle cap on the air intake point

^ This.

On another note, those are some crazy intake and turbo pipes!

What make? CF?
