Cruise Control for 2003 Fabia 1.4 Petrol?

Featured Replies

Hi,

Can cruise control be retrofitted to a 2003 Fabia 1.4 Petrol please? I've looked through the forums and I see this question has been asked a few times over the years, but not for this particular model.

I have seen some 2005 1.4 petrol models advertised with (presumably) factory fitted cruise, but I don't know if there were any significant changes between 2003 and 2005.

Can anyone help please?

It's an automatic if that makes any difference.

Thanks.

Yes, several places can do it for you or there are DIY guides on these forums. Unless you have VCDS though, I would advise you to get someone else to fit it for you. Unit 18 and Shark Performance do a lot of these upgrades.

Thanks very much, yes, I would definitely be getting someone else to do it, I just wondered whether the OEM kit could be fitted, rather than third-party equipment. In that case I am estimating £200 to £300? Would that be around the mark?

Crikey, You'd get change out of £200.

The OE stalk is around the £60 mark.

Plus fitting I'd estimate total cost to be about £160 to £180.

Be rude not to really :D

Mine has it factory fitted and I wouldn't be without it.

That's very useful, many thanks.
