Hi, ive had a coil pack die on my vrs,, how much is it for a genuine part from skoda?

Are they the same parts on all the VAG 1.8t engines if so is it cheaper getting it from anywhere else (vw/audi)?

Yeah all 1.8t use same one as does the 2.7t

I got mine from motor factors, i paid 20 quid when one of mine failed

Are theyre any differences (quality wise) between a genuine or one from a motor factors?

Genuine one is 25quid inc VAT

For thne sake of about 7 quid then ill just go genuine!

I couldn't get a genuine one as mine decided to fail one saturday afternoon and i needed car,

Later found out there quiet a common thing so keep meaning to get a spare for when it happens again

paid 37 euro for one on xmas eve when mine decided to go just before i was doing a 150 mile trip to the outlaws :wonder:
