Hi,

Today my heater fan was making an odd noise, parked up, did some shopping, came back and now it doesnt work at well, whether I turn air con on or off, the fan just isn't doing anything. I have checked the fuse and that is fine, so is the heater fan likely to have failed? Apart from the fuse would there be anything else to check.

And if it is the Heater Fan are these relatively easy to come by and to replace?

None of the local scrapyards have any and ebay prices are like £50+

Well fixed it, somehow, removed the unit, cleaned the connections, plugged back in and it worked

I had a similar fault on my Toledo V5 with the blower fan motor. Turned out the connection plug was corroded so i re wired it to just normal spade connections and it was fine.
