Hi guys looking for a little advice regarding the timing belt change. I have had a price of £436 Inc vat for the timing belt and water pump change in my petrol vrs , while the service department checked the system they told me that stretch bolts should be replaced when you do the water pump bringing the total cost to £455.50 Inc vat. Just wondering if the stretch bolts need replaced or can be left . The dealer said they will only be replaced if required .

Yes you should replace the engine mounting bolts.

Thanks no problem. They just said they will see on the day, but I'll tell them to replace them anyway as it's not too much difference on price
