Do you mean after using key remote it does not unlock, or, boot catch release handle releasing boot lid

does not release the boot-lid.??

Actually its both!

Actually its both!

I have got the same problem at the moment. Mine only opens when it wants to. U can hear it trying to open but it won't both pressing on the key and the boot button on the car.

I had this problem but found if im pulling whilst pressing the button it makes the noise but wont open, be gentle with it press the button wait for the pop then pull. This may not be the solution to your problem but it was to mine. hope this helps

Sounds like solenoid release mechanism is faulty??

If it doesn't unlock then that would cancel-out manual release handle on boot-lid?

Tricky position to be in, can only suggest contact Skoda for some adequate solution

to open boot, then perhaps replace release solenoid locking mechanism.??

check the fuse for the boot lock simples :) if its blown but new fuse in . . . . if it wrks then happy days if not the boot solinod gone or wire out . . . theres small cover over it which can be remopved from the inside which has a manual release . . slide across and boot will open
