Anyone got any comments on petrol turbos such as expected life (miles), frequency of oil-change, driving tips, general maintenance costs ?

Hi my Petrol Turbo drinks the stuff, the car a UK Scoob is a MY99 and still runs full power it has just done 80,000 miles so I guess it is still in good condition. Oil changes happen around 5,000 miles twice a year although I didn't do 8,000 last year. I have always been told never Rev high on a cold engine and give time for the oil to settle before you switch off. Driving tips I suppose will be determined on the car you buy. If you buy the same as mine either have full pockets or leave it in the Garage. Oh our VRS Fabia goes and pulls well but my Car BIG SMILES
