Speakers turn on and off while driving

Featured Replies

Hi guys, so many faults with my fabia XD

So anyway, a while ago I put up this thread

I have PAS problems, thought I might add the following:

The balance on my speakers goes from left to right as one or the other of my speakers fails. This goes on for the first 30-40mins of driving and takes even longer if my lights and wind screen wipers are working (during rainy nights).

The balance seems to shift (as one of the speakers turns off) when I turn the wheel slightly.

Could this (together with my previous PAS post) be related to a faulty battery / alternator?

could be a loose wire at the back of the head unit? bad earth?

I hate electrical problems

Top of my list would be a damaged wire as it passes from the 'A' pillar to the door.

Open the door and manhandle the wires
