I understand that the xenon projector headlights were an optional extra on the fabia. Does anyone know if Skoda can supply the projector headlight without the xenon lamp setup? My plan being projector headlights with an affordable/sensible colour HID kit and i have affordable wannabe xenons! I know the ins and outs of self washing and adjusting that xenons require legally but thats not really an issue.

I'm sure there was a thread recently which had a link to a continental site selling the projector headlight units but they were non oem.

That's just the HL bodies and gubbins though. You'd still need projectors, ballasts/igniters and loom/electrical work.

If you do it, run 35W ballasts and Philips bulbs. Cheap chinese or similar bulbs run alot hotter and can and have melt(ed) stuff.
