Hi!

Seem to have a starting problem every morning. DOes not start on the first try, have to keep cranking it and then only it fires. Any reason? Could it be because of the cold of 18 degrees.

I'm presuming this is a diesel?

If so try this - turn on ignition (but do not turn over) glow plug light goes out - turn off ignition and turn on again glow plug light goes out - repeat the sequence for three or four times then try starting, if engine starts then you have some glow plugs on their way out.
