Washer bottle leak?

Featured Replies

Has anyone had their washer bottle leaking before?

Mine seems to have started leaking so I just took it off the car, there is no apparent leak but the pump does let water through one of the outlet pipes without it being on...???

Is that normal or is that the source of my leak?

I fill it up and its all gone in about 30 minutes, so annoying this time of year! :(

Thanks

i had a very similar (frustrating) problem, my washer bottle would empty itself overnight.

had the bottle and pump out numerous times but everything looked ok until i found a rusty looking pin hole in the body of the pump,

changed it and its been fine since. :)

well I changed the pump and everything seems ok now. According to the skoda garage the pumps are easily damaged in the cold and the internal seals go so they leak...

useful info
