Not sure if this is a model specific problem but the little door on the rear body panel to the fuel cap won't close on my 07 Fabia. Nothing seems to have broken off, it just isn't catching. Any ideas or suggestions?

Don't really want to book it into my dealer as it's £75ph labour just to have a look at it.

Mine did this the other day while we had all the cold weather - It had frozen in situ.

Go in to the boot and pull the cloth trim out on the drivers side (just clipped in) as if you were trying to get to the rear of the taillights, put ur hand round the back of the panel in the direction of the fuel filler flap, u will find the actuator has came away from the mechanism, it just needs pushed back in!! literally takes 30secs!!
