How many km on your 7-speed DSG you have?

Just wanted to know what's the most km you guys have on your 7-speed DSG? Mine's got only 4000 km on it but I have it only for about a month.

Mine, got around 9,250km or ≈5748 miles

I had to check the date was not 01/04/2011

Currently 10200 hassle free miles and a reassuring 2 1/2 year warranty left!

There we are then, thank you! I dont understand why there is a six and seven speed box though, sounds like an excuse to raid the VW parts bin i think!

Older 6 speed is known as "wet", newer 7 speed as "dry". The 6 speed will handle higher levels of torque hence the 7 speed appears with the smaller capacity engines.

45,000 kms on my 6 speed DSG PD140 remapped car, no problems to report.

Cars with the 7 speed cannot be easily remapped due to the fairly low torque limits on the dry clutches, the 6 speed can handle a lot more.

The downside of a 6 speed DSG can be slightly less economy which is now becoming increasingly more important on the ever increasing price of fuel! emoticon-0116-evilgrin.gif
