Hi guys!

I don't know what is it with pensioners in England and their love for Skodas. Polish love the brand regardless of age. But you know what? It's better this way! At least you can get a second- hand Skoda that didn't go through hell, like all the mk4 Golfs tuned by spotty teens or blokes with short- man syndrome. My dad drove a 1.9 tdi skoda from 98 to 2001 and he loved it. He's done over 200000km and all he had to change was a timing belt.

When I bought my skoda, the alternator went the second day I bought it. So much for the famous reliability, I thought. The wheel snapped and flew all the way down. My friend has replaced it for me as I watched, learning some new Polish swearing. Now, I haven't done anything else to it but the time is up, I think. So I'll post a question in a relevant section and hope that you'll help me find the right answers. Thanks guys!
