Bolero Phone Memory's Screen

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Can anyone advise. I have had my superb for 3 months now but recently the phone connection started acting up.

I have been using it regularly with my job with no problem, but the other day the screen on the bolero said no phone connected.... strange because in the display in the speedo area all was OK?

I erased the phone and re- paired with the car.

Now, when I store the quick dial numbers on the bolero it stores them OK but if I leave the car and come back it sometimes has forgotten the numbers and sometimes not??

All seems OK at all times on the Speedo display. One thing sometimes it says Premium bluetooth in the display and sometimes not.... nothing changes on the phone and I have not altered anything on the phone?

Is this something anyone else has had or is it a trip to the dealer?

I had a similar problem on my Columbus a few weeks back, I had to totally delete the Bluetooth connection from the car and the phone and start from scratch. It was extremely annoying and took a few times to get it working. I still don't know what caused it. There will hopefully be a firmware update at some point in the future. I think the problem lies with the Bolero/Columbus as the maxi dot says the phone is connected but the head unit doesn't.

I also have issues with the Bluetooth streaming audio connection where I have to disconnect and reconnect in order to listen to my iPod.

I use an iPhone 3GS which isn't the ideal handset as it isn't rSAP compatible so it has to connect via GSMIII.

Have this issue with me BlackBerry and rSAP 2010 hands free - sometimes it'll connect, other's it wont - now it just refuses to connect completely no matter what i do! - have forgot about it now, just use an HeadSet but that's no ideal for the mileage i do... :(

Al.

Another thing I had to do was go into the settings menu and activate the 'always on' audio setting rather than 'calls only'

I also reset the handsfree to factory defaults in the Columbus settings menu.

Have you tried completely deleting the entire Bluetooth setting then reboot the handset and start over?

Also set the car to discoverable and let the phone find the car rather than the other way round, all of these things combined seemed to allow me to reconnect to the car - in an admittedly clumsy fashion - but it's been fine ever since.
