Someone bumped into my Skoda Fabia - how much is this likely going to cost to fix?

Featured Replies

Not sure if this is the right section to ask this but here goes;

Someone bumped into our Skoda over Christmas and left half of the left front bumper hanging off and damaged, a small scrape on the side by the bumper and the left fog light has come out along with the left grate thing. How much is this likely to cost to fix (roughly)? It is driveable It is Skoda Fabia 2001 model (4 door).

Thanks?

If all the damage is on the bumper hopefully you just need to replace the bumper and there's no further unseen damage. It would be handy if you could get hold of one in your car's colour.

The car colour is unfortunately quite rare :( but they have the colour paint of my car from when they did some repairs before so they could spray a different coloured one my colour I am guessing)?

Would you have a ballpark figure of how much front bumper and light/grate replacement could be?

bump

There's a facelift bumper for sale in the car parts for sale forum.

It should fit the older pre facelift fabia too. Same guy (Leodhasach) also has some

brand new foglights to go in it as well as some foglight surrounds.

Nip over there and check it out there are many photos.

(I have already bought the clear foglamps advertised from him and

someone else is also interested in the bumper but it's worth getting second dibs ;) )

Still got the bits that grrr666 kindly mentioned above, would like to get rid of them this weekend when I nip down to Leicestershire...I need the space! :)

Let me know if they're any use to you.
