Late register?

Featured Replies

Hello, me AGAIN!

Just done a wee check and my car was first registered on 08/03/2007 (my birthday coincidentally). I know the mk1 went out of production March 2007 so is it possible that mine is one of the last ones?

Thanks

Yes, will be a pretty late one on a 57-plate, for a Mk1. I've seen Mk2s on an 07, so it's definitely a late one!

As for one of the last ones - hard to say. Depends how much old stock had been hanging around, without being registered.

Steve

There was a 09 plate SE for sale last month

Mines an 07 not 57 :D The old stock part makes sense, I should really start thinking before I make topics on here lol.

Yeah I seen that. Surely that's a one off... there can't be too many registered as late as that one.

So you're 3, coming up to 4 years old then?

Mine is an '07 non-se VRS too - according to Wikipedia, there are only 22 of us - which makes us ever more special than the Special editions - right? :p
