Nearside door electrics stopped working

Featured Replies

Would appreciate some advice please. 07 plate VRS, the nearside door electrics have stopped working; courtesy lights, locking, mirrors and windows on both nearside doors are all out. The offside c/locking works but not the drivers window.

I've checked the fuses, all look ok. Water ingression? If so, where's the culprit module / connector. I am guessing within the driver's door perhaps?

......to make the car viable for travelling to work, any suggestions as to how on earth I can lock the nearside doors from inside the car, there's no knobs and the central locking button misbehaves as per above.

Suggestions appreciated, thanks all.

OK, managed to find a way to lock the doors using the emergency security lock buttons. I've also pulled off the door card, zero water ingress, all looks fine with the wiring also, no pinches or sharp twists.

If anyone else has experienced this I'd appreciate some input.

Thanks in advance.
