Quick AP fitting tip: take the blue collars off the rear adjusters and shove the black bit up the spring; they're not quite low enough with them in...

yeah i was thinking that, the last set of ap's i had on my fiesta st i just left the rear adjusters out completely lol

Nice to see another SE with the grille painted, looks so much better

dont bother with the adjusters on the rear, just stick the springs in!! lol

I think you'll need to re-do your grille

try not to rush though. i know it's hard not to.

is it hard to fit coilies yourself?

aye a rushed it abit when a was doing it tbh, got loads of paint left tho so al do it again over the weekend. ive fitted afew sets before so it shuda be to hard, im a digger mechanic anyway so it wont take me long

yeah, I had them with just springs in, but as soon as you put anyone in the back, or things in the boot, your scrubbing.

Pretty much raised mine up for winter, but I might just leave it as is now.

i didn't mean to cause any offense btw.

Looks loads better, got a spare one i'm getting done soon in a different colour.

AP's are a pain to fit if you don't have the right tools lol I found out the hard way - spline bolt the right size :)

The paint code is 9463 Race Blue, that colour is way off, did they get the correct code?

yeah a gave them the code and used the correct plastic primer etc, al rub it back down and try again and see how a get on, a might get some light silver base coat aswel, the primers white but a think silver would be better

Hope you removed all your chrome first. Leave it in some bleach and it eats away

Did you just spray straight over the chrome?? Will be interesting to see how long the finish lasts....
