Was quoted 24,750 euro for a Superb Combi 1.6 TDI (105 BHP) Greenline today.

The regular price on the dealers list is 28,750 - his offer includes the Irish Government scrappage of 1,250.

Any thoughts on the price?

Thats a good price mate what kit is on them now ? I had a 09 Greenline the old 1.9tdi engine great car , the new 1.6 cr is supposed to be much better engine cheaper tax etc. Go for it you wont be disappointed

If you can stretch to the price for the elegance spec, it is great value as the extras included over ambition spec, would cost far more, than the difference you are paying.

whatever level of spec you choose, you won't be disappointed.

I have an Elegance spec (170CR DSG)....Elegance spec is great value for money...

If your are pre-ordering rather than buying dealer stock I suggest the following extras to Elegance

MDI

Heated Front Windscreen

Hill Hold

All cheap as chips all useful.

All of those plus heated washers is exactly what I would have added to my new order, but then I went for one availalble straight away instead of waiting 4-5 months.

I have most Xtras as i bought my 170 Elegance as a demo the owner of the garage had it . wat i dont have is de mdi thing or heated windscreen , i could do with updated maps and firmware any 1 wana send me a copy on dvd lol
