as above, anyone know what they weigh? as betwean myself and another forum member we are trying to organise a courier.... something ive never had to do before emoticon-0112-wondering.gif

any help appreciated, regards courier/price etc [ive heard paisley are ok??

cheers mark

Not particularly light for a 17 really. IIRC from having a set a good few years ago they were around 11Kg a wheel.

Another option is to weigh yourself on bathroom scales, then step on holding a wheel and subtract the difference :)

Although you will need to avoid the temptation to stop for a quick pie between weighing jobs. :giggle:

That can be a challenge, let's be honest :D

Also, that above figure is obviously without a tyre fitted (at risk of stating the obvious!)

Cheers chaps, will it need to be an accurate weight for courier? or is ''around 44kg mate'' enough emoticon-0136-giggle.gif

they are bare wheels anyway , partially refurbed so may weigh a pound or so less due to lack of paint emoticon-0136-giggle.gif

just emailed paisley and weight doesnt seem to come into it! £25 door to door emoticon-0148-yes.gif

MarkMac - I suggest you try http://www.paisleyfreight.com/alloy-wheel-courier.php

I had a set of 5 Evolo wheels sent to me from Scotland. 4 of them were with tyres fitted and one spare on its own (they are also a pretty heavy wheel). You just pay for how many wheels you have, not the weight. I had very good service from them, and by far the cheapest.

Beaten to it! :giggle:

Good result that
